A letter to the editor from Mrs Joy Rapaich stated: a recent university graduate asked Mike Bradley why voters would believe that he can address the issues of debt, infrastructure and the lack of good-paying jobs for young people in the next four years when he has failed to do so in the past 18 years. Mr. Bradley said that he rejected the premise of the question. It is true that Mike did state that he rejected the premise and went on to explain why. He is articulate and made his point to those who were in attendance, It is public record, it was televised. The letter was manuipulated. It is easy to criticise, and easy to be a Monday morning quarterback. Does she think her 'White Knight, the "BIGKAHUNA" as his licence plate proclaims, Gods gift to Sarnia, a legend in his own mind, could have done better??? I guess as her husband is a backer of his 'ideas and plans' she and her friends are getting worried. As the Democrats have learned, if you let your guy talk too much, especially about things he doesn't understand, it can be damaging. Things take upturns and downturns, we have seen Sarnia down in the early 1990's and no fault of council. We are seeing the start of an upturn and with new oil plants planned and ethnol plants coming soon we will see an upturn no mater who is in the drivers seat. I too have used editorials for my agenda, and take comments out of context to make a point as well.

I don't understand what you're trying to say with this post. It would appear to me that you're condemning the political manipulation of a message, then supporting the manipulation as a legitimate tactic -- a tactic which you also admit to using.
There doesn't appear to be any point to your message but to bring attention to Mrs Joy Rapaich and her husband. It seems to me that you're wanting to single this couple out as being supporters of Mr. Murray.
As I'm quite sure you are aware, many local residents have been critical of Mr. Bradley's performance in the past. A significant number of these people have voiced their opinions in editorials for the local papers. I'm also quite sure that you can appreciate human error as an inescapable element in opinion pieces.
We are naturally biased animals that tend to distort facts in order to support our opinion. We also tend to ignore facts that bring our opinions into question. Whether admirable or not, this is most certainly a condition of humanity which we must learn to accept.
Are you Mike Bradley?

I just wanted to say that it is indeed possible to take a tidbit of accurate information quoted by a person, and turn it into something it didn't mean at all.
Fox news in the states is the best at this. They especially like doing it to Canadians and to democrats and not necessaryily in that order!
At least when I quote what someone said, it is the entire segment, I then go on with my interpretation. Although I said that 'out of context' in my original message it was a hint of who I am. If you have been reading the Observer editorials over the last 6 months you should recognise who I am!

I'm not particularly interested in playing "guess who I am" games. I'll leave that nonsense to the children and invalids. Yes, I agree with you that it is possible to "spin" what someone may have said. The Sarnia Police do it all the time. (Did I mention that they were corrupt?)

Another letter condeming Bradley for stepping out on the Police services board meeting and missing the vote. It is public record that Mike was told that no vote would take place and as soon as he left, the chairperson Anne Marie Gilis proposed a vote. The two board members who supported Anne Marie Gilis as Chairperson of the board agreed as a quorum was three. I suppose the other two voted yes to assure her No vote would get her brownie points!!! Boushy saw through her two faced plan, as he knows her style, she showed that her agenda was more important than the the city agenda. Don't vote AMG!!!

Know how there are certain people that you just don't like, and you don't know why? Anne-Marie Gillis is one of those people. There's just something about her that I really can't stand.
