Oh, but do the Tories have any chance of unseating Premier Squinty's Liberals? Caroline DiCocco definitely has to go.

Yes Carlos, that was the lady from last night.
She is a great person, she cares about this community and what the future can hold for all of us.

I have sent Caroline DiCocco a couple of emails in the past, and have received no reply from her or her staff at all. I've sent emails to Mayor Mike and have always received a reply. Bradley is very responsive and that's why I like him -- even if I don't like what he says.

Caroline DiCocco is a liar. I exposed her in a letter to the editor regarding the Select Committee on electoral reform which turned out to be a farce like I called it. She wrote me a rather unfriendly letter in response and then backtracked to try to cover her ass. I have all of this documented.
If anyone is interested in the details, let me know.
No need, Glen. I'm sure almost every citizen of this community has their own personal evidence to support that allegation. p.s. I changed my signature to one you may find a little more fitting. ;D

I have nothing good to say about Caroline either, she robbed Mary Jane Marsh of the Nomination and has not acted any better since. I go to most cultural events in Sarnia and around the county. I have yet to see our Minister at one!!! At least I can say I never voted for her! I don't know how she got elected the second time, she benifited from a political wave and backlash against the Conservatives!

I'm not a big Fan Of the PC Party , But I am a Fan of a minister that has Morals and is going to put there public ahead of the their parties interest.
The past MPP has proven she could be bought with a Cabinate position (shame on You Caroline DiCocco)
If you where truly about your city you would have pushed for your bill,
the Next Ontario election is going to be exciting to watch the candidates running for Sarnia/Lambton seem to have got the understanding that the people have concerns. Its time to listen to your people and if need be go against the grain of your Parties

McGimpy claimed he didn't know that promoting Caroline to Minister would nullify the bill. LOL And I didnt know water was wet . well its safe to say that Dicocco hasnt got a chance if she runs again

I'm still trying to figure out how she won her first term. Oh, nevermind, she was running against David Boushy in her first term. That's why she was elected. David Boushy was maybe even worse than Caroline DiCocco.

Hopefully Bradley will run against her for the area Liberal Nomination, I am not sure if the wave has gotten high enough to sweep the Liberals from power next election.
If Bradley isn't interested, he should throw is hat in the Federal ring!
I would like to see him go on to higher office. He is a hagler we need as our area rep.

I would like to see Someone that would stand there ground and not be afraid to speak up. Bradly would be a good choice but that would cost us a good mayor leaving the position open to a new election, that is if they just don't pass the seat to the second place votes, lol that is a scary thought.
If we had to call another election it would cost the people of Sarnia around $100.000.
Now we have Options in the Ontario elections. and those are puting the right people in those positions to run. We get to decide who can even run for MPP so lets get behind some one who is morally concerned with our current affairs.

The Conservatives won't be removed from power in the next federal election. The present federal MP for Sarnia-Lambton, Pat Davidson, has really given us nothing to really complain about. And in politics, no news is good news. As for the upcoming provincial election, I couldn't see Bradley going Tory, and it's very rare that an incumbent is challenged or defeated for the nomination.

Bradley, Tory No! No!
I would think that Caroline will quit after two terms, don't you get a pension after two terms?
I think she may be woried about losing to a Tory even if the goverment stays Liberal.

I think she may be woried about losing to a Tory even if the goverment stays Liberal. Why would Caroline DiCocco quit? If she quits, she gets no salary, no expense account, no prestigious office in Toronto, no regular column in the local paper, and she becomes a washed up has been. No one wants to talk to her anymore. No one wants to meet with her anymore. No one cares about what she thinks anymore. DiCocco quit? Not gonna happen. As for pension requirements, I don't know what the qualifications for a provincial MPP pension are. I believe, and I could be wrong on this, federal MPs must serve a minimum of six years -- that equates to two terms of majority governance.
