The show was a sell out. Fred isn't part of mainstream pop music. He has however a fan base of 'Fredheads' who follow him around and buy lots of Fred stuff. He has 16 CD's and people were eager to get the latest, one asked me to get out of the way if I wasn't buying as he didn't want to miss out. Fred mentioned that at most concerts his fans are waving the event start CD then at the break they run down to get a 'intermission' CD, when they leave they pick up a parting CD.
He is always available at the end of the show to sign all three!
His music is Folksy rockabilly country, I guess! Timely lyrics some mainstream artists have recorded his stuff. If he comes back to the area he is on my don't miss list. Although I won't become a 'FREDHEAD or buy 3 cd's!
