Stabbings injure three Sun, December 2, 2007 By SUN MEDIA
Three people, one in London and two in Sarnia, are in hospital after two weekend stabbings. Police have charged a man after a stabbing near Dundas Street Friday night. An occupant of a home at 660 Lorne Ave. called police about 11 p.m. after a man was stabbed in the abdomen, police said. The man later had surgery for his serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, Const. Juan Romero said yesterday. The two men knew each other through a mutual friend, said Romero, adding alcohol was a factor in the stabbing. George Hill, 38, of no fixed address, is charged with aggravated assault and two counts of breaching probation. Hours later in Sarnia, police were called to a stabbing on Chippewa Crescent on Aajiwnaang First Nation. A man and a woman were stabbed several times at about 2:30 a.m. yesterday and suffered serious injuries that weren't life-threatening, Sarnia police said. Thomas S. Nahmabin, 18, of Sarnia, is charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of aggravated assault. lfpress.ca/newsstand/News/Local/2007/12/02/4701395-sun.html
