After receiving a complete copy of the voters list, It has come to my attention that only 30% of all the eligible voters are on the list.
We need to get out the word to the people of Sarina/Lambton that they need to register to get there names on the voters list, If they want thier voices to be heard! This is a very easy process all you have to do is go down to City hall on Christina St. with some Id and ask then to place you on the voters list .
why is this important.
(1) The list has not changed
(2) There is only 30% of the people deciding whats best for you (3) I believe the young folks of this great city need to be heard
(4) Times have changed, do you let your parents tell you how you dress. if not how can you let them decide how to run your city? (5) What was good for our folks 10 years ago may not be that good for us 4 years from now.
(6) This is a 4 year term , If your 18 now you will be hitting 23 after this term is done. you need to think about your futures . jobs affordable housing and by that time the safety of your children.
lets make a change for the better get out and vote.

Yes, I am on the voters list. Yes, I am voting in this election. And, Yes, I will be glued to Cogeco TV 6 on the evening of November 13, watching the election results pour in.
I wonder if Carlos will be at city hall this election night? I saw that he was last time, and he was invisible to everyone else there. Sad.

So sorry fumanshu. I was at Puck Around "with my own team" watching the event on TV. I only went to City Hall after I saw the results.
FWIW I have always gone and congratulated Mr Mike on election night. In fact in my 1st run I was the only one that showed up at his Victory Party to congratulate him.
What is completely unknown to the general public is that I also went with a bunch of others to Mike's place for a more private party of 20 or 30 people. And I played my guitar for them until 4 AM.
(The media would never tell that to the public! And there were lots of Media people there at the time!)

Exactly when you got there or why, is irrelevant. Speaking of your team at Puck Around, were they the 330 people that voted for you in the last election? I didn't think Puck Around could handle that kind of capacity.

LOL! NO! There were not 330 people at Puck Around that night. But back in 97 or 2000 I did have at least the number of the 207 votes that they said I got that time in attendance at Mr. Mike's.
I found it unbelievable! (And so did everyone else there.) That was when I asked for a recount. Please take note! I never asked for a complete recount. I only asked for the ballot box that I personally voted at to be counted.
The official document that City Hall sent me said that I got 10 votes in that box. I wanted to see those 10 ballots. I know I could have identified my own Ballot because I did something on it that I would recognize. And my Mother also voted at the same place. She told me that she only casted a vote for me, and no-one in any other office.
I wanted them to produce those 10 Ballots. But I was refused.
(You will laugh if I tell you the entire conversation about my request that was officially recorded at City Hall. It consisted of a total of 8 words from 3 people. Four of them were from Mike Bradley. And at no time did they say anything that would let people know they were talking about my request for a recount.) -----
Anyone that doesn't find it funny needs their funny bone checked!

Mike Bradley: "Motion Six!" (Two words.)
Terry Burrell: "Move to shelve." (Three words.)
Mike Kelch: "Seconded!" (One word.)
Mike Bradley: "So moved." (Two words.) ----------
For a grand total of 8 words! LOL!

I take it Terry Burrell and Mike Kelch aren't in your good books?
And, you're right. It is funny. It's also sad.
