Last night at the candidates meeting Carlos had some positive ideas, wheras Joe was negative as ever about the way Sarnia has been managed. Frobisher did not agree with a number of 'points' made by Joe, especially on Port Sarnia and Jobs.

(((leisha))) Thank you for the compliment! (I think?) I wish you would have introduced yourself. But if you feel that remaining anonymous is in your best interests, that is fine also. I just wish Mike Bradley had showed up! I personally have no problem with him at all. And we have developed a very unusual friendship over the last (5) elections. He knows that I am a lot more serious about Running for Office than the Media has portrayed me as. Not only that, but there are several ideas that have gone forward during that time that have originated from something that I have brought up. (Would you like me to list them? LOL!) I just wish he had been there!!! I had planned my opening remarks around something that I wanted to say to Mike. And I was forced to change them at the last moment because of his absence. I still hope to say what I was prepared to say. But I'm not that enthused on how it will come across? (I guess I just have to wait and see?) (((leisha))) I think it was you that said something about me combining my own Message Board with this one? In case you don't know!!!!! ?? A lot of the things that are now in this ongoing discussion actually started over on my own board, and they moved over to here. Please visit my own board and read through some of the discussions that are already underway. (But admittedly stagnant for the moment.) sarnians.proboards60.com----- Hey Dean! I have an idea!!! Let's get together, (With as many others as we can get!!!) and go to the College during their busiest lunch period. We can just walk through the Cafeteria and tell people to gather at one place to hear "ALL OF US" talk. I know of no Candidates Meetings scheduled at the College??? Maybe we can cause some kind of "impromptu" event without going through all of the (Recognized?) channels. (All of those College kids are of Voting age! And most of them have no idea what the Candidates have been proposing.) --- What do you think of that idea? ----- Peace! DG

The more debate the more people will be enlightened. You should have run for council Carlos, with some of the losers who are incumbants, you could have won!
Bradley like others have said is a hard man to beat. I would have thought that he would have gone on to higher office and hopefully he will soon. The Liberals need some good people!!

(((Leisha))) You are truly not getting this! What I am proposing could not be done from a single seat on Council!
You also don't seem to know much about me? If the media ever wrote what I have been proposing, I know I could (And easily would!) beat Bradley! Even he knows it!
I'd love the chance to explain it to you outside of a public forum. There are far too many "Pacrats" that are there for no other reason than to sabotage my efforts.
(Just ask Dean! He knows me better than most!)
Peace! DG
P.S. - FWIW I think that a personal meeting (With however many other people necessary!?!?!?) Might shed a lot of light on what I'm trying to explain to you.)
ALL THE BEST!
Captain Trips!

Bradley did run on the provincial Liberal ticket in 1990. He was defeated by the NDP candidate. Bradley mentioned this during the televised Chamber of Commerce debate. He said that his defeat in the provincial election caused him to re-evaluate his sense of place. His conclusion was that he believed he belonged as mayor of the city of Sarnia.

You are absolutely right. Do you think Caroline will win again??
Some are elected as were the NDP because of a wave. The Liberals came in again on that wave. POLITICS.

A lot can happen in that time, and I'm not about to speculate on how the people of Sarnia-Lambton feel about Mrs. DiCocco.

I am inplying that if there is another political wave, Sarnia Lambton will surf it as it has proven for most elections.
